On Tuesday, August 2, 2016 CommunityGrows joined many Western Addition groups to table for the community about their BEETS Program. Kelly ErnstFriedman, our Director of Programs, and Ivan Gladamez, one of our summer BEETS were on hand to answer questions and pass out fall application for the BEETS Program. 
We got to meet the new Captain of the Northern Police Station Captain John Jaimerena, as well as Mayor Ed Lee.
Lots of residents came out in the Buchanan Mall near Ella Hill Hutch to check out the different resources, and have some food. 
It was great to come together as a community and see long time friends, and meet new ones. 
Our Advisory Board President Shakirah Simley joined the revelers at the Bi-Rite table, dispensing organic peaches to all. Delicious!
