On Thursday, July 9, 2015 CommunityGrows staff member Serena Padilla lead an afternoon class of Booker T. Washington youth at New Liberation Garden. After reading roll-call and the garden rules, Serena quizzed the class on the different parts of the plant. 
Then they all got a chance to transpose tomato plants throughout the garden. At the end of the class everyone had a chance to water the plants throughout the garden.
