Rosa Parks Elementary School was visited by a wonderful group of seventeen young men from Stuart Hall High School on Friday, March 8, 2013. Stuart Hall is a college-preparatory high school located in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights district. Lead by a team of counselors, including Laurie Pomeranz and Amelia Sitter, the youth helped with the maintenance of the Rosa Parks gardens, by weeding, planting and composting. It was a wonderful day of service, and the youth from Rosa Parks enjoyed their company as they work with Garden Educator, Ezekiel McCarter in the teacher’s garden.
