[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On June 12, 2013 the Summer Beacon youth came to Koshland Garden for their afternoon science fun. And what could be more fun than watering the garden. This is something that brings out the joy in youth. Filling water buckets, carrying them down the garden paths, tipping them, pouring water on the thirsty plants and soil. It is a task they relish, and the garden’s dreams are answered. A child becomes a garden steward with love and kindness for the earth.
